Ranked Lobby Change
Matchmaking Added to Lobby
New Leaderboard Format

Ignoring the co-founder in the lobby. We have added 4 brand new NPC's and made them have a consistent theme.

Ranked 1v1 - 2 Teams consisting of 1 player each
Ranked 2v2 - 2 Teams consisting of 2 players each
Ranked 3v3 - 2 Teams consisting of 3 players each
Ranked 4v4 - 2 Teams consisting of 4 players each

ELO calculation is the same across all 4 modes of Ranked Bedwars.

20 ELO (Win)
2 ELO (Final Kill)
2 ELO (Bed Break)
MINUS 10 ELO (Loss)

Opposite the NPC's in the Lobby. You can find the Leaderboards.

These leaderboards have been revamped to make them easier to read and formatted in a much more user-friendly way.
Alongside this. You can now switch pages by right clicking the leaderboard meaning it takes up less space in the lobby.

Hydra Hub Development Update #001

Welcome to our first Development Update post. Every Sunday leading up to our release, we will be posting a development update as part of our mission to keep the community up to date with how our Ranked Bedwars game mode is going and to gain valuable feedback from our community to build the best community driven network in Minecraft.

New Logo:

As part of our rebrand and mission to keep modernised within the Minecraft community. We now have a new up-to-date logo.
This fits our network theme and keeps us within a consistent look and feel and makes us memorable to you.

Ranked Bedwars Overhaul:

As our Ranked Bedwars Game Mode is the first of it's kind. We wanted to make sure it's as perfect as we can make it and have
a proof of concept to show you all. We have put more money and time into creating the best ranked network possible with
the budget we have. 

We have bought a new dedicated machine to be able to host this type of network. With more RAM and CPU power we have been
able to boost performance and dedicate more servers and RAM to the ranked bedwars game mode in anticipation for our release.

How does our ranked bedwars work?:

Our ranked bedwars run on over 6 separate servers. It takes almost 32GB of ram to host meaning it's quite intensive and the game mode we
are putting all our time and energy into.

We will be starting with 3 Divisions

Iron, Gold and Diamond

Each division is split into 3 sections.

Iron I, Iron II, Iron III
Gold I, Gold II, Gold III
Diamond I, Diamond II, Diamond III

As our network grows in playerbase, so will the divisions to broaden the skillset. However, without players we can't be splitting our community
Into 5 divisions instead of 3 as there will be no one to queue with. 

Matchmaking: ELO & Leagues

Matchmaking is done based on what Division you are in. Each division is also split into ELO ranges.

The screenshot above shows our IRON Division. Each division has the same difference in ELO. You rank up every 100 ELO you gain.

Depending on what ELO you are, will depend on what division you're in. If you're in gold division, you cannot queue with iron division and visa versa.
Meaning this is the first server of it's kind to have skill based match making.

However, if you are in a party with mixed ELO ranges and divisions. The entire party will queue with the party leaders division.
If you queue in a division higher than your own, you will gain extra ELO on win, loss, final kills and bed breaks than the party leader due to a mismatch in
the ELO. This means even if there is no players online within your division, you can still play with someone as long as you're in a party with them.

However, If you are in a higher division and queue in a lower division, you will get a ELO nerf and will gain only a quarter the amount of ELO as you usually would
And double the ELO loss if you lose a game. This makes matchmaking more fair if there is a disparity in ELO ranges.

Discord Statistic Viewer

Alongside our Ranked Bedwars gamemode. If you're playing on the Hydra Hub Network You can now see your bedwars stats in the discord itself.
This shows your ELO, Division, Wins, Losses, KDR, Final kills, Win-loss Ratio, Winstreak and top Winstreak. This is so you can see your statistics in a 
Cleaner and simple way.
